Rules of Examination

(1) 80% attendance is compulsory for all examinations held during the year, failing which the students will be given zero. No consideration will be given to the absentees except on medical grounds, at the sole discretion of the principal of the school. It is the responsibility of both students and their parents to ensure that they do not miss any oral or written examination.

(2) Those students reporting late for examinations will not be given any extra time for answering the question papers.

(3) Any student found using any unfair means during any of the examinations will be given zero in that subject. Parents and concerned student will be summoned and asked to provide an explanation about the unfair means. A repeat of such cheating in future will result in prompt issue of a Leaving certificate without notice.

(4) Requests for the issue of progress cards before the declaration of results will not be entertained at any circumstances.

(5) Examination date will be decided well in advance. Examination will not be conducted on any other date for parent’s personal convenience or their requirement.

(6) Promotion criteria will be decided as per guidelines of education department.
